The rosaries, of course, were a big part of the show, most of which came from France, and had the beautiful profiles of Mary on the connectors that are so distinctively French. Here are some of the marvelous colored glass rosaries....

Another favorite, these little bundles of antique glass flowers and leaves, which were a big hit with everyone. The subtle colors were so beautiful...

These hand-stitched detentes dating from the 1800s forward were so beautiful, and we were lucky to have such a large collection of them available for the show. The one on the left, inscribed, "Mi Dios, Mi Todo" (My Lord, my all) was one of my personal favorites, and it went home with someone who delighted in it as much as I did...

Among the other religious treasures were tiny shrines, reliquaries and rosary boxes from Czechslovakia, as well as tiny brooches with doves dangling little medals from their beaks...

A portrait painted on celluloid rests on a tiny bag composed entirely of prong-set rhinestones...

The huge rosary with the secret knife went home with someone, but for a time it rested on this wonderful gated album covered on old red velvet, which appropriately, went home with Judy Wilkenfeld, an homage to Red Velvet Creations...

The lovely Holly Stinnett graced us with her presence, and some of you will meet her soon in her class at Gilding....

Here is the sweetest girl, Ruth, with the wonderful and talented Judy Wilkenfeld, who joined us that evening after arriving from Australia to teach In the Artists Studio...

My friend Mary and her best friend Barbara...

I love the twilight time when the lights are just coming on outside...

The store, starting to fill up rapidly, and ladies entering into the fray....
