Since you asked:

"Therefore, to be possess'd with double pomp, to guard a title that was rich before, to gild refined gold, to paint the lily,
to throw a perfume on the violet, to smooth the ice, or add another hue unto the rainbow, or with taper-light
to seek the beauteous eye of heaven to garnish, is wasteful and ridiculous excess."

~William Shakespeare,
ca. 1595

Yup, that's us.

Paying it Forward...

Yes, it's that time...time to "pay it forward," as the saying goes. I was the lucky winner of Kelly's beautiful heart necklace, and now it is my turn to host a giveaway with something made by my own hands and pliers. These are a favorite pair of earrings, long danglers on silver wires, created with vintage souvenir bracelet plaques from Paris, old silver filigree beads, and big old hand-faceted citrine drops. Here's a little closer look....

Anyone who wants to throw their hat in the ring just has to comment, AND commit to be the next one to "pay it forward" with their own giveaway. Short, sweet and simple: no paradoxes to ponder, no puzzlers to perplex! If you want, you can also share with us your best last Sunday morning or afternoon.... I will close the giveaway on Sunday night at midnight, and use the fabulous and awe-inspiring RandomNumberGenerator to choose the winner!

Let the games begin! :-)

I absolutely LOVE these earrings! They are gorgeous and who ever wins them will be SO lucky to have them! Sadly, I'm more of an appreciater of beautiful things than a creator of them, so I wouldn't be able to pay anything forward. Good luck to all of you! I just thought I'd leave a comment and thank you, Nancy, for making the most amazing jewelry around! <3

Yes, yes, yes, I want to pay it forward too. Sent my grandaughter a cross bracelet I made from your design. My daughter, Cheri thought it was a true antique.
