Since you asked:

"Therefore, to be possess'd with double pomp, to guard a title that was rich before, to gild refined gold, to paint the lily,
to throw a perfume on the violet, to smooth the ice, or add another hue unto the rainbow, or with taper-light
to seek the beauteous eye of heaven to garnish, is wasteful and ridiculous excess."

~William Shakespeare,
ca. 1595

Yup, that's us.

$45 Class Fee (Kit Included, see below)

This Victorian-styled festoon necklace is built on a base of chain in different sizes and weights to create texture and interest. The main focal will be a vintage button collaged on a lovely filigree, and shaped filigree bails will be made from connectors, and joined with textured rings. The inner festoon of chain will hold a special piece, which each student is asked to bring with them. (If you do not have something in mind, please inquire for likely candidates when you pay for your class. We’ll be happy to make suggestions or see if we have something you’d like.) The class sample shown incorporates a small engraved locket. Our new sample in the store incorporates an old button and mother of pearl components...

Each kit for the class includes an antique Victorian button focal that is unique to that kit. You may select your kit from those available when you purchase the class. Selection of focals is on a first come, first serve basis.

This is a great beginning to intermediate cold connection class that lets you leave with a lovely necklace finished and ready to wear with your best dress or jeans and boots. If you have additional components, beads, or dangles that you would like to incorporate into your design, please bring them to class, and we’ll work with them during the composition of your necklace. We will also work with jewelry adhesive for collaging the focal and filigree, and may explore some metal aging as well.

Based on availability of chain and components, this class may be available as a kit for our out of area customers. Please inquire about kits at (714) 680-8893.

All classes are prepaid.
