Make and Take Monday!

I hope you all had a lovely Fourth of July holiday! Ours was spent with family here in Fullerton and we had a little relaxing on tap...nice for a change! But now we're back on track, and will be holding our Make&Take Monday tomorrow night. We are releasing two new kits, a pair of earrings, and a bracelet. Shown below, the Costa del Sol Earrings....

These are fun summer earrings, composed with some of the new findings that we have in the shop. The stars in this piece are the vintage square wire rings in two sizes, and the tiny solid brass drops suspended with aged brass rings. These are topped with lovely horn beads with little fluted caps top and bottom. Totally a cold connection ring and pin project, these lovely little earrings can take you through summer and into fall! Kit Price: $6.50

Lots of fun vintage stuff in this kit, including old 6mm ball chain, vintage brass cable, vintae baroque pearls, glass beads, mother of pearl nuggets and tiny vintage shells! The project is pulled together with a hammered brass ring and funky oversized spring ring, and we'll be using lots of fun tools and techniques for this one.
We'll hammer our ring closure, as well as two tags for our bracelet, so you'll be using a bench block, two different hammers, letter stamps, and aging your metals using our patina solutions. You'll design the placement of your tags, select the words you want (I stamped 'soleil' and 'la mer', 'sun' and 'sea' in French) and the sequence of your vintage and semi-precious stone beads. Feel free to bring additional goodies to hang and dangle, or add them later on. Kit Price: $28.00

If you have hammers or blocks of your own, please bring them, as well as tools. We'll be sharing mine for the class.
